This example shows a villa pool with faded, cracked blue tiles, a stained waterline and worn coping. The proposed transformation combines blue glass mosaic with stone coping, a rebuilt brick surround and renewed paving.

A dated apartment bathroom with a bathtub and pink tiles provides the starting point for this example. The new layout features a walk-in shower, large-format light tiles and an updated vanity and fittings.

Cracked old tiles and damp stains show why a terrace may need work beneath the visible finish. This example pairs renewed waterproofing with slip-resistant terracotta-tone tiles for an exposed villa roof terrace.
