More than replacing the visible tiles

Work may include removing failed material, preparing the surface and addressing agreed defects before tiles and products suitable for continuous immersion are applied.
We discuss the waterline, steps and junctions around fittings as part of the layout. If there are signs of water loss or cracking, these need consideration before the finish is renewed. Tiles are not a substitute for an appropriate underlying waterproofing system, and retiling should not be presented as a guaranteed cure for an unidentified leak.
Local conditions and pool wear
Villas with pools around Valencia face strong summer sun, changing temperatures and periods when the property is unoccupied. Hard water can leave deposits along the waterline, while water chemistry and cleaning methods can affect grout and finishes. We consider these conditions when discussing materials and subsequent care.
Draining also needs planning. Ground conditions and the pool’s construction can affect whether and how it should be emptied. We assess the proposed approach rather than assuming every pool can simply be drained. Access for removing debris, bringing in materials and protecting surrounding paving is discussed before the job is agreed.
